Cheers, That is a Perfect Date!

I’ll give you one thing that’s straight on point – you can never be sure about how your date goes even though you might have spent days after days planning one.

Why?

That is because you can never really predict if the other person will like you on the first date of if you’re just not meeting again. Sigh!

As a constant over-thinker, I have actually spent what amounts to years of my life determining whether or not people were attracted to me, and even more time deciphering what exactly they wanted from me.

I am a firm believer in sparks.

I believer in vibes wholeheartedly and believe they will be present when I have my person present around me.

But the question still remains the same - How does a spark manifest itself on a date? Or after a date? How do you show someone you’re into them—or know if they’re into you? 

It’s time to stop the guesswork now and take these clear signs if your date is actually into you. If that happens it is going to be The Perfect Date!



1. The Sitting Posture – If they’re having a good time in your presence, your date will sit well giving out all positivity to you. They’ll not have a hard time sitting around you and will enjoy conversations with you. When someone is interested in you, they will see you as a very important person and make sure that their posture does’t say anything otherwise.

 

Additionally, if your date sits back in a relaxed posture while staring into your eyes between all the leaning-across-the-table, it means they’re really comfortable around you and rather like you and that is definitely a good sign!

2. The Smile that Won’t Pause – Sometimes the craziest situations are all solved in a smile and if someone really likes you they can’t help but smile in your presence. Or take it that way – when someone does not want to be in your company they will have an awkward kind of smile – one that typically states they’re definitely not happy in your company.

 

Take smile as a sign that they are totally into you and just initiate further to make it work!

3. Laughter and Blushes – Does your date laugh at the smallest of jokes you make? Or do they blush easily when you compliment them? Blushing and laughter are subconscious flirting moves that is very hard to hide when you’re in the presence of someone you have a crush on. 

 

Oh that blush; oh that crush!

 

4. Some Deep Stares – There might be something really exciting about you that makes them deeply stare at you and trust me this is definitely a sign that you date is interested in you. This is a subconscious move where your date wants to get closer to you, and longingly stares at you because they just can’t get any closer.

5. Stretched Dates are a Sign, Always! If someone is making an effort to stretch the date with you that is particularly because they’d like to stay a little more time – and that my friend is definitely a sign they like you.

 

All of this stretching could be either by finishing their dessert really slowly, by ordering coffee after dessert or by continuing the conversation even after the bill’s all paid and the table cleared. These are sure signs that reveal that this person doesn’t want the date to end. In all probability, your date may even suggest a walk or another place to hang out after the date. 

 

6. Exciting Similarities – Having something in common is definitely possible but having exciting similarities could be a sign they’re only making up to be around you. They’re obviously very happy to know that both of you like the same thing, be it movies, concerts or hobbies, and are probably looking forward to sharing the activity some time with you.

 

7. Another Date? Yes Please! If in your conversation you ever talk about another date with them and they excitedly answer in a yes it is definitely be a sign they’re happy to be with you for another time. Note simple gestures or take simple words ‘I can’t wait to see you again’ because they definitely mean it and are asking for a next good date with you.

 

8. The Comfort Zone – Honestly, if it is you are on your first date it is still important to create a comfortable space for someone. People around you have to be in your comfort zone and if you can provide them this comfort zone then that’s really a good sign to see because they’d like to be around you.

 

9. So Good So Far! Does your date tell you they’re having a nice time even when you don’t ask them about it? Your date is probably enjoying the date so much they can’t wait to share the information with you *of course, this could just be a conversation filler too, so keep an eye on the other signs*.

 

10. The Thing about Last Goodbyes – Last goodbyes are always special! If at the end of your date you’re not really shaking hands or your date happily gives you a hug or a peck on your cheek then take that as a sign they have a crush on you.

These are 10 good signs that you can take as straight and clear signals your dates is really into you and cheers to that!
